Do I need to be “in shape” to come to classes?

Heck no! This is a common misconception that somehow you need to already be an elite athlete to work out with us. Come try out a free class and you’ll see that we have members of all ages and abilities. From teenagers to people in their 70s, people brand new to working out, athletes optimizing performance, kids staying active off-season, you name it! The beauty of our facility is that you have a trainer working with you in class to be sure you are scaling or modifying movements to achieve the same stimulus as everyone else in class. So, take that first step and come on in!


How do I get Started?

If you are brand new to our gym we offer a Free Trial class so you can see what we’re about. From here, you might choose to begin with our Foundations Membership, purchase a class card, or jump all in with a full monthly membership. You can see all our membership options by visiting the tab at the top of the page under ‘MEMBERSHIPS’.


What should I expect when I come to my first class? Should I bring/wear anything in particular?

When you arrive you should have already reserved a Free Trial spot in class and signed a digital waiver but we ask that you arrive 5 - 10 minutes early so you can meet the coach, get familiar with the facility, and settle in before class. There is a bathroom to your left when you walk in our main door, you can wash your hands there, put your belongings in a cubby, and change your shoes before heading downstairs. If a class is still in session you can watch from our upper level, but the coach should find you shortly after wrapping up to welcome you and be sure to answer any questions you might have and get familiar with any nagging injuries or health history that might be pertinent.


What if I really Don’t like “weight lifting” or barbells?

There are many reasons why someone might choose to not use, or even CAN’T use a barbell, so we are always ready with alternatives. Regardless of the chosen tools, our coaches will be sure that you focus on lighter weights while you build up your strength and technique with every movement. Building lean muscle mass is the best way to achieve the results that most people are looking for, we appreciate our strength work here. We will walk you through exactly how to do every barbell movement, and break it down to the basics whenever appropriate.

That being said, not all of our classes have a ‘strength’ component, so take a closer look at our program offerings under our ‘SCHEDULE’ page above. Only our “BUILD” classes have guaranteed strength work in every class.


How Do I reserve a Spot in Class?

Using our ‘HOME’ page above, you can reserve your Free Trial class. After that, with an active membership of any kind, you will be able to simply sign up for the desired classes through our Wodify Athlete App. When you create an account to come to our class you will receive an email invite to set up a profile and download this app. Upon signing in with your log in info you will see all available classes and reservations can be made and cancelled with a click of a button.
