BURN

This is our popular, 45 minute, High Intensity Interval Training class! Body weight and/or light weight exercises to keep you moving quickly and maintaining a high heart rate.

BUTTS & GUTS

At the heart of everything we do, we need good core strength. This 45 minute class is a fantastic supplement to build a rock-solid midline to help you stay strong and prevent injury.

ROLL

This class is a beginner’s class focused on Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals, although more experienced practitioners are always welcome. The atmosphere, as always at Deep Roots, will be friendly and supportive.  Anyone can train Jiu-Jitsu, and all are welcome. Jiu-Jitsu is a self-defence martial art and combat sport based on grappling, ground fighting, and submission holds.  BJJ focuses on taking one's opponent down to the ground, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or chokeholds. We will begin our training with ‘no-gi’ Jiu-Jitsu, which is without the traditional training uniform. All you will need for class is shorts and a t-shirt, but mouth guards are recommended.
Class will be 45 minutes to 1 hour long and consist of a brief warm up, learning and practicing technique, and easy drilling.  Optional sparring will follow. Jiu-Jitsu is a wonderful way to get exercise, laugh with friends, and build confidence. We cant wait to see you on the mats!

SHRED

This is high intensity functional fitness at it’s finest. Workouts combine everything from cardio to power lifting and Olympic lifting. Each day brings something new, so get ready to get after it! Classes offer up to 3 different tracks inside each workout: Performance, Fitness, and Foundation. These tracks give athletes visible options for completing their workout of the day with varying levels of loading, volume, and technique.

SWEAT

This class features work using our Concept 2 fitness machines (row, bike, ski) plus some fun bodyweight movements and light weights. Less technical work than SHRED, but longer sustained work compared to BURN.

OPEN GYM

For those of you who have accessory work or specific goals outside of class times, we have the Open Gym option for your membership.  At only an additional $10 per month it will come with access to our COMPETE, and FLEX accessory programs should you wish for some guidance while you’re here!
