About Coach

I did not grow up an athlete, far from it actually! As an adult and mother physical exercise helped me regain my confidence for so many reasons! I learned mental fortitude, gained confidence that I never had before, and learned how to trust myself enough to follow through on my goals.

As a coach, I feel like I relate to our athletes because I am still a student myself. I am always learning from other coaches, navigating the trenches of young kids,  and setting and re-setting goals for myself.  So if you’re a beginner, don’t worry, I still consider myself one too! Let’s learn, and get strong together!

My fitness journey began about a year after I had my first son in 2020. Becoming a mom was incredibly eye-opening to me, I had the biggest reason ever to become a happier, healthier, and more active version of myself in order to be the kind of parent he deserved. Fast forward a few years, and a 60 pound (give or take) weight transformation, and I truly couldn’t imagine my life without Deep Roots Fitness. My favorite feeling ever is helping people realize how badass they truly are!

My purpose is to show that fitness looks different for everyone and is accessible to EVERYONE. You do not need to be a conventionally “fit-looking” person to be an incredible athlete. Fitness is a testable skill that anyone can improve on, if I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT.
